The Tapia Family opened In and Out Door Shop in 1983. Having been in the door business for over 50 years, Cecilio Tapia passed his extensive knowledge about the industry to his sons, two of whom work at the shop today. Cecilio got his start in the door industry in 1970 when he returned home from Vietnam. When he opened In and Out Door Shop, he was determined to bring quality doors to the Northern Arizona community — and In and Out Door Shop remains committed to that mission.

Cecilio and his wife have called Flagstaff their home since 1952 and happily raised their three sons here. The Tapia Family is proud to serve the community that they call their home.

In 2002, Cecilio’s youngest son, Santos, formally joined the company and has since taken over the shop, while Cecilio continues to be ever-present in the shop. In 2006, Cecilio’s oldest son, Tito, also came to work at In and Out Door Shop and Cecilio’s grand-daughter, Caitlin, came to work at the shop in 2022.
